So in Period 2, we got Mr Laws as a substitute teacher. Everyone don't even respect him. Someone got kicked out of class and a couple other have to move away from their friends. In the middle of the class, suddenly Mr Ianni; the school principal came. Lylah (and me) thought we're in trouble but he just come and check if we're doing our work and then go somewhere else. Like, what's even the point?
Anyways, after double Maths that had nothing really "memorable" happened, it was recess. I hangout with my sisters because I don't want to hangout with Sarah anymore. Besides, I don't even know where she was. We ate gingerbread cookies that Kak Za made in her cooking class and "observe" some of the students who walked pass us and tell stories and stuffs.
Time flies when you're having fun and finally it was time to go back to class. I got double English and then Art with Miss Springbett. In English, we did this Semester Reflection and MiPs Reflection, I guess? The Semester Selection is basically about reflecting on how we think we went through our semester.
The MiPs Reflection on the other hand, we have to answer questions about our year in Roxburgh College and turn it into a paragraph, I guess. There was this one question which goes like this; "Something I have forgiven myself for is.." and Imad said "You should say its when you shout at me".
I had so much trouble answering the questions cause for example they ask "What's your favourite moment in Year 7?" Like, what? There's like a hundred moments I want to treasure and almost everything is my favourite. And like when they ask what's your "Funniest moment in Year 7". I might make a post about it, so.. Stay reading! Haha.
Anyway, Miss Gray still haven't organized my bronzes to silvers which doesn't even matter to me. She said she don't even ate lunch yesterday. I feel bad for her. She's a very dedicated teacher and she had been working hard even to a work she's not committed to do it. Like - District 7D.
After English was Art. We have to continue doing our Portfolio Task. Having two teachers for a subject sucks. Miss Springbett teaches us on Mondays and Thursdays while Mr Matt teaches on Wednesdays. Miss Springbett usually taught us Theory while Mr Matt taught us like how to paint and stuff.
So, for some reason, they both give us a Portfolio Task which means we have two Portfolio Task for Art. I don't even finish my "Cups" painting with Mr Matt and now I have to sketch a fairytale with Miss Springbett. I don't care anymore. I'm not even good at Art. At least I tried my best, aye?
During Art today, they played something I'm not really sure about but it's like starting from A to Z they'll name a characteristic and they'll say who matches it the most from our class. It comes to Q and they said "Quiet" "Who's the most quiet girl in our class?" and of course everyone say its me.
It comes to "Loud". I don't even know how Q can come before L but anyways, they all say someone's name I don't pay attention to but then Farrah said "No! It's Humaira! Humaira's the loudest!" LOL. The thing is, I'm not that quiet. I just don't know what to talk about, that's it.
When finally the bell rang, Miss Springbett asked everyone to sit down quietly so that she could give the people who had been self-directed the most go out first. Then, everyone said "Humaira", as if I'm the one who should go out first. Me myself honestly don't think I should.
Miss Springbett finally calls out for Phillip, which doesn't matter to me, but everyone was like shocked or something because it wasn't me. I have no idea why they thought it's me. I know I'm a geek but why does it always have to be me? Esin's good too, Lylah's good too. Do I really look like a geek?
I spent Lunch with Kak Za and her friend Melek. We went to sit at our usual spot and eat another bag of Kak Za's gingerbread cookies. After we finished, we went to the library and played a couple sets of UNO ans Snap. I need to borrow a book for the Reading Homework but I forgot to bring a book or anything with my name on it. Besides, I don't know what kind of book I should borrow.
It was 2:25pm and it was time for the last period. I got Science. Miss Savic wasn't here. Preparing for her wedding, I guess. Miss Frances substitute us and they said she's the best teacher ever. I remember the first time I got Miss Frances as a substitute teacher. Wait - that was for Drama Class.
But anyways, the first time I got Miss Frances for a substitute teacher with my classmates, everyone was like screaming and ran away when they found out. I was like "What is this?" and then Ceren told me that they once got Miss Frances as a substitute for Sport and they go wagging and stuffs Miss Frances force them to write "I promise I will be self-directed in Sport class" the whole page.
But today they all High 5-ed and knuckle punched her and said she's the best teacher ever. Cute. Miss Frances said Miss Savic left us a worksheet of exam revision for us. Which means, we don't have to do our Portfolio Task? I have no idea. I hope Miss Savic isn't gonna come tomorrow too, so that we PROBS don't have to do it. Eventhough I have troubled myself to print the definitions and the nuts.
Miss I-can't-remember-what's-her-name-but-she-once-substituted-us came and turned on the air-conditioner. Haha I remembered how we got air-conditioners at our old school too, but the one in our class don't even work. And because it was the era we all go crazy for Marketland, we said its for "Luxury Points". Anyways, Science class was peaceful today, I have no idea why.
Maybe because of the heat that everyone was light-headed, maybe because of the cool breeze of the air-conditioner. But that's my awesome weird class. Sometimes we're a bunch of good students and most of the times we're (they're) just a bunch of monkeys. Oh I remembered once the class was so loud, someone who is very loud too said, "Miss, are you a zookeeper?" Haha.
Anyways, when our class was so quite and peaceful today, suddenly Mr Mill came. He was kinda shocked to see 7D in such a good behaviour doing our work. He was like, "Is this 7D?" with his mouth half open. And everyone was pleased, I guess. Even Miss Springbett. Miss Springbett was like "This is the best class. 7D is the best class" with a huge smile I have never seen on a teacher's face before.
Mr Mill was very impressed and he joked, "Owh, 7D! The best class! With Adna, Sosek, Omar.." while pointing to the most "trouble-maker" students. Haha, if it was in my old school, it probs gonna be my name. Anyways, Mr Mill then go back visiting other classes leaving us a motivational "Keep the hard work"
Soon later the bell rang and its finally time to go back home! The moment I get out from the class I could really feel the heat spiking through my face. I rushed back home and took a long, cold shower.
